At Vita Cosmetic Production, we place great importance on protecting your privacy and are committed to handling your personal data responsibly. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you visit our website, book appointments, or interact with our services. By using our services, you agree to the terms described in this statement.

Scope

This privacy policy informs users about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider VITA Cosmetic Production GmbH, Eberhard Schumann; Frederick Schumann, Gaußstrasse 13, 85757 Karlsfeld, Email: info@vita-cosmetic.de, Tel: +49 (8131) 37662-0, on this website (hereafter referred to as “Contact”). The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Note on the responsible entity

The responsible entity for data processing on this website is:

VITA Cosmetic Production GmbH, Gaußstrasse 13, 85757 Karlsfeld

Represented by:

Eberhard Schumann,

Frederick Schumann

Contact:

Phone: +49 (8131) 37662-0

Email: info@vita-cosmetic.de

The responsible entity is the natural or legal person who decides alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Access data/ Server logfiles

The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server logfiles). The access data includes: name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted, message about successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that helps to identify a person, i.e., information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address, or phone number. However, data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or which websites were visited by someone also count as personal data. Personal data is only collected, used, and shared by the provider if this is legally permitted or the users consent to data collection.

Contacting

When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or email), the user's information is stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in case follow-up questions arise.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided, will be stored for processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered into the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. It is sufficient to send us an informal message via email. The legality of the data processing transactions that occurred until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you entered in the contact form remains with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to exist (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable specific, device-related information to be stored on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). They serve to improve the user-friendliness of websites and thus benefit users (e.g. storing login data). On the other hand, they are used to capture statistical data on website usage and to analyze it for the purpose of improving the offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers offer an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it is pointed out that the use and particularly the convenience of use without cookies may be restricted. You can manage many online ad cookies from companies via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.

Google Analytics

This offer currently does not use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). If Google Analytics is used in the future, the following applies: Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on the user's computers and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by them. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is usually transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. In the event of activating the IP anonymization on this website, the user’s IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website by users, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide further services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of their browser software; this offer, however, points out to users that they may not be able to use all functions of this website fully in this case. Users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the website (including their IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Alternatively, instead of the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link to prevent the collection by Google Analytics within this website in the future. An opt-out cookie will be placed on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click this link again.

Integration of Third Party Services and Content

It may occur that within our online offering, content or services of third parties, such as maps or fonts from other websites, are integrated. The integration of third-party content always requires that the third-party providers perceive the IP address of the users, as they cannot send the content to the users' browsers without the IP address. The IP address is thus necessary for the presentation of these contents. Furthermore, the providers of the third-party contents may set their own cookies and process the users' data for their own purposes. Usage profiles of the users may be created from the processed data. We will use these contents as sparingly and data-minimizing as possible and will choose reliable third-party providers with regard to data security.

The following representation provides an overview of third-party providers and their contents, along with links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on the processing of data and, in some cases already mentioned here, options for objection (so-called opt-out):

– External fonts from Google, Inc., https://www.google.com/fonts (“Google Fonts”). The integration of Google Fonts takes place through a server call at Google (usually in the USA). Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/.

– Maps from the “Google Maps” service of the third-party provider Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, Opt-Out: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/.

Revocation, Changes, Corrections, and Updates

The user has the right to request information free of charge about the personal data stored about him. Additionally, the user has the right to correction of incorrect data, blocking and deletion of his personal data, provided there is no legal obligation to retain it.
